I know Channie’s mother, and we women who know her for years and how she has been pining for her daughter to get married, are thrilled for her!
I called to wish Mrs. Gross mazal tov and her husband answered the phone. She wasn’t available but I spoke to him briefly and he sounded so happy. He said your father is a talmid chacham. Later in the day, when I saw Mrs. Gross, she said your father went through Shas two times! They are so honored and pleased with their new son-in-law.
Mrs. Gross is a straight-shooting woman and when she says something, she means it. And she said that Channie’s middos are something special. When I tried to give her, the parent, credit, she just said that Channie’s middos are beyond [anything she the parent might get credit for].
Mazal tov!
